I’m back at it gain with the predictions friends and its been quite difficult to label the predictions based on match day’s given all the games that teams have missed due to cup competitions, so I have decided to go by dates instead. As ever a follow on Twitter @cameroneyles and a view of the One Game at a Time homepage HERE goes a long way, so get involved. New format this week so lets get on with it.
Liverpool 2-2 Everton
Burnley 1-1 Spurs
Chelsea 2-0 Crystal Palace
Hull 0-1 West Ham United
Leicester City 3-1 Stoke
Manchester United 2-1 West Brom
Watford 2-0 Sunderland
Southampton 2-1 Bournemouth
Swansea 0-0 Middlesbrough
Arsenal 1-2 Manchester City
Game of the weekend
Tight one this week to decide which game you should absolutely go out of your way to watch but I’ll go for the Merseyside derby over Man City v Arsenal. This is Everton’s chance to finally beat Liverpool at Anfield after so many years and creep into the top six discussion.
Chelsea to beat Crystal Palace at home surely is a banker for Antonio Conte’s men who have been the champions-elect for seemingly years. Despite the momentum of Big Sam’s boys I cannot see them getting past Chelsea.
Relegation Six Pointer
In terms of the battle for survival its pretty clear the game between Swansea and Boro is massive. The smoggies have to start winning now or the writing is on the wall for relegation. The Swans are certainly not out of the woods either.
I have got two in mind here. I could quite easily see West Brom get something at Old Trafford but I’m backing Burnley to get at least a point at home against Spurs, and potentially steal all three. We know Burnley have an insane home record, and we also know Spurs love to implode around this time of year so that’s one to look out for.
The Best of the Rest
Given Arsenal’s form in big games you would back City to win and I’ve also gone for a Watford home win because literally everybody beats Sunderland. Saints should get a home win too but I’m on the fence about West Ham’s trip to Hull. The Hammers should win on paper but are on poor form at the moment. Leicester City should also continue to rack up the wins as Stoke usually go to the beach at this time of year. Which is bizarre given the lack of beaches in Stoke.
