Things are starting to get quite exciting down the bottom end of the table as there are at least six teams that could potentially be relegated. Up at the top of the Premier League its business as usual with Chelsea firmly in control of the title race. Its now up to the other five teams to see who will be playing Champions League Football next year, and who will be playing on a Thursday night. Before we get started a follow on Twitter @cameroneyles and a visit to the One Game at a Time homepage HERE would be great. Anyway on with the predicting.
Arsenal V Hull City
This is a must win for Arsenal. Back to back losses to Watford and Chelsea effectively mean that any hopes of winning the league are dead. Their aim once again is getting into that top four. Hull have been much better under Marco Silva and have a real chance of staying up but Arsenal have to win here.
Manchester United V Watford
United dispatched Leicester relatively easily last time out and should not really have much trouble with Watford. The Hornets have been ok this season and look like they will stay out of trouble.
Middlesbrough V Everton
Romelu Lukaku is on absolute fire at the moment, he scored four in his last game. Everton themselves are in good form but Boro desperately need points otherwise they could end up in the relegation zone. I’ll back Boro to grind out a bore draw
Stoke City V Crystal Palace
Palace lost 4-0 to Sunderland, with all goals scored inside the first half. I think that tells you how much trouble they are in. I think this may be a bridge too far for Big Sam and expect another Palace loss here.
Sunderland V Southampton
Sunderland showed that they are not down and out just yet with their 4-0 demolition of Palace. Saints haven’t exactly been in great form in the league recently but I just really want Sunderland to lose so I’m going with my heart over my head.
West Ham V West Brom
The west derby (I can’t be the only one who calls it that) is a mid-table clash this year and whoever wins this match I’m backing to finish 8th, behind the top six and Everton. Man City thumping aside the Hammers have been in great form so I’m going with them.
Liverpool V Tottenham Hotspur
This game is absolutely massive. Liverpool have only one a single game in 2017 and that was against League Two Plymouth. Spurs are in red hot form and despite being away from home I’m still backing them here as Liverpool have been genuinely awful for the past month.
Burnley V Chelsea
This will be tough for Chelsea, Burnley are excellent at home and to the surprise of many are not near the relegation battle. I think Chelsea will go on the march straight to the title and while this Burnley game is certainly a test, it’s one they will pass.
Swansea City V Leicester City
Swansea have looked much improved under Paul Clement as they look to climb up the table. Leicester are in free fall but did get a morale boosting win in the FA Cup. This relegation six pointer is too hard to call, so I’ll go with a score draw.
Bournemouth V Manchester City
Bournemouth need to be careful, they are in serious danger of slipping into the relegation battle. City look a lot better with Gabriel Jesus up front, although an attack that incorporates both him and Aguero would be deadly. Pep’s team should win here.
That’s all for this week and feel free to leave a comment. As always thanks for reading.
